Design Wall Tuesday? April 29, 2014

Yikes!  I am way behind on everything, or so it seems. Here's what I've been working on.
This is the before and after of the disappearing 9 patch star.  I have most of my samples ready for the demo but I'll need to do a little bit more on this one.  I'll do that Wednesday at Sharon's house.
And here's the rail fence star.  I wish I had taken a picture of the row of stars before they got packed away.  I really like how easy this star is to make.  I can see more of these in my future.

I didn't do so well on my goals last week.  Well, yeah.  I wouldn't have been working into the wee hours of the night last night if I had.
Week of April 21, 2014
Finish quilting QOV quilt (postponed for a week at least)
Embroider shirt for Sophia
Make parts for demo for quilt show
Border Sail Boat Quilt (postponed)
Go see Wicked!
Plan next BOM and write directions
Work on Throw Me a Curve quilt (also postponed, sigh)

It doesn't look like much in the way of goals for this week but I'll be working the quilt show a part of the week and traveling.

Week of April 28, 2014
Go to Washington, DC
Work the Faithful Circle Quilt Show
Finish $10 & under items for the quilt show
Give demo on Friday at show
Lunch with Jenny and Sophie on Friday

You can still go to Patchwork Times to see Design Walls across the Internet.
Things to do, places to go.

Hey, since it's Tuesday I'm also linking with I Have to Say's Show and Tell Tuesday.  Take a look there for more eye candy.

Things to do, places to go!  Happy Quilting All!

  1. Well, how clever! Another "disappearing" block technique to add to the toolkit!
Hope you're able to get back on track with your projects, Bonnie.

  2. I've never heard of the DNP star. I need to Google that technique.
