Design Wall Monday 4-14-14

Hum, it's an interesting date today.  I wonder if many folks have chosen today to get married?

This past week has been the slowest quilting week for me since the last time we took a big vacation.  Interpretation of a big vacation -- years! That means I have very little to show that has anything to do with quilting.  So here's my one quilting picture.... I made some progress on the last A Tisket, A Tasket block.  Most of the other blocks are completely done, I think 3 need a little embroidering.  And here's December's block just getting started. Just a little reminder -- this was a free block of the month in 2010??? or so. I am a bit slow on appliqué. Hum, this appliqué looks a little wrinkled.  Hopefully it will iron out smoothly.

My weekly goals list looks like I got a lot done but most of it was not sewing or quilting related.

Embroider shirt for Ellie
Load and quilt QOV quilt

And now next week.  I hope to be back in the groove on quilting.

If you are wondering what I did besides reading books.  Here are a couple of pictures you might enjoy.

Selfie with Ellie

I'm forever taking selfies with my grands.  I was really lucky with this one as Kevin was standing close by getting Ellie to laugh.  We were having a great time. She's a happy baby most of the time.

Here's the ultimate Daddy.  Please note that is a baby monitor on his belt, not his cell phone!

That's it for me.  Make sure you visit Patchwork Times to start your blog tour of Design Wall Monday.

Happy Quilting All!
