So how did I do with my goals? Not bad. Painting ceilings is hard work and wore me out even though Pat did the majority of it. However I wiped down all the walls and ceilings with the tack cloth before we started the painting. And, I am pretty good at cleaning rollers and paint brushes though.

I leave you with this butterfly feeding at a cone flower in my garden. I have a wonderful Pat Sloan pattern of cone flowers that I plan to make ... someday! Evidently deer do not like cone flowers as we have some flowers. It took the deer a long time to eat our hostas because of all the scaffolding and stuff in front of the house. But now that it's gone the deers are enjoying the smorgasbord!

Happy Quilting!
love the blocks on the design wall. I've made Pat Sloan's coneflower (tall and skinny) I think she calls it-if it's the same pattern-I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love what is happening on the design wall! That flange is a great idea. As for borders, I'm stumped. It may be one of those times that you audition nearly everything you have! Sometimes I have done that and the fabric I expected to not work at all was perfect and I only tried it because I was so unsure. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteLove that orange. I need some in my stash. Blocks look wonderful
