I want to share the ornaments I have been working on (and off) nearly the whole year. Every year I give my grands an ornament I've made.
If you'd like to make some like these you can buy the patterns and kits from The Rusty Crow in Nags Head. They are scattered through the Patterns section.
I thought all my readers might enjoy this very cool decoration that my neighbor DeDe made for our book club party earlier in the week. It was fabulous but I know she took it down the day after because it was right in front of her sink. I wanted to grab a book or two to borrow...
Happy Quilting All! Bonnie
Merry Christmas! Your ornaments are fun and I bet a lot of work. What a great Gnome!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! your ornaments and book tree with gnome are very cute and creative!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat tradition to make ornaments for your grands! They are so, so cute, and your grands will have a nice collection to start out in their own lives. That book tree is really adorable! Hope you had a great Christmas Bonnie.
ReplyDeleteI used to do ornaments too! Kind of quit as the grands are all adults have families of their own, my own kids are single again...the dynamic has changed. This year, however I did finish 5 ornaments for part of the extended family. I have a goal to make the remaining grands and great grands ornaments for next Christmas. Thirteen ornaments a year is a large undertaking. Wish me luck.
ReplyDeleteFun to see Rose in her wedding dress. I'm thinking she may need a Christmas dress for next year! "hint, hint"!
