Stashbusting Report -- July

If I thought last month's report was gruesome -- this one is worse!  Those folks with the Row by Row sure know their stuff.  I've visited 17 shops since the beginning of July.  SEVENTEEN?  Really?  I've bought several kits for the Row by Row but I'm not counting them either in or out.  Too hard to figure the actual yardage in or out. I've bought something from nearly every shop I've been in.  Some was fabric, some was the kit, some patterns, a book.  You get the point.  And, getting to all those shops from Maryland, to Northern Virginia, central Virginia and west Virginia took a bunch of my time.  I've seen some wonderful shops.  Of course, I haven't had all that much time to sew.  So, with no further ado, the gruesome results!

The only good news is I have 3 baby quilts ready to bind.  I just ran out of time.  I am planning on continuing to get some quilting, rather than piecing, done in August.  And, I hope I will be able to control my shopping some what.  I've got several quilts that are ready for me to slap on Ruthie and finish.  I have several projects that won't take too long until they are finished tops ready to be quilted.

In other words, hope springs eternal that I will wittle down how much fabric I have purchased and I'll have some great finishes coming up SOON!

Now it is back to working on Capital Quilt's row.

Happy Quilting All!

  1. Oh my, you are definitely going in the wrong direction for stash reduction!

  2. Why is it so easy to make the stash increase and so hard to make it decrease? Good luck getting yours moving in the right direction.
