Finished!

Meet Carousel

The pattern is called Carousel from the book Simply Fat Quarters by Its Sew  Emma.

Quilting design is Diana E2E by Christy Dillon from MyCreativeStitches.Net.
It is my new favorite quilting design. So Fine thread and Pellon 80/20 cotton/poly batting. I'm tickled that the quilting shows well on both the front and the back.
I have to say I really like this quilt.  Pat immediately hung it up in our entry way.  After the summer it will be shown on the quilt rack in the guest bedroom. I don't know how long we'll keep it but it may be "living" at our house for quite a while.

Please visit the following links to see what's new on quilting blogs across the internet. Needle and Thread Thursday, Whoop, Whoop FridaysPut Your Foot Down, and Beauties Pagent 87.  (I'll post links as they are posted and I remember.) If you click on the pictures they should enlarge.

Happy Quilting All!  Bonnie

  1. I made that pattern once but seem to remember an error in the cutting instructions - I wonder did you find that? maybe I am remembering a different quilt pattern - it looks like yours turned out

  3. Beautiful finish. The pale pink sashing ties it all together and really sets it off. Thank you for linking up to Put your foot down.

  4. You've used beautiful colors for this quilt and I love how they work together. Your pale pink/coral sashing adds just enough additional interest. I would have a hard time giving this away if I'd made it.

  5. Wow! It's just lovely! The quilting gives it soooo much wonderful texture and makes it look like there is floral fabric in the background. Super finish! :)
