Lots to share with you today
X blocks top together and bordered.
Quite a few connecting corners put on this baby quilt. Thanks Sharon for cutting all of this out for me. She's making one too and we shared fabrics. Evidently I have oodles of conversation prints!
The promised picture of my new Bernina... now to think of a great name for her... Any suggestions?
The newest block for the FCQ Equilters donation quilt.
Sharon moved the blocks around when she was here... she liked this arrangement better than what I had. But honestly, I was just throwing them up on the wall. The golden pumpkin color isn't that odd in person... it doesn't stand out quite the way it does here. Four, maybe 5 since I duplicated a block, blocks left to make and then I can put it together.
Yes, a few of my daffodils are blooming... they look great but they seem to be blooming in spurts -- the weather has been so WEIRD this winter.

ReplyDeleteLOVE the X-block top :) And look at that new baby - I love the skin she has. Always fun to name them right? How about Dotty? I also really like Daisy but that just doesn't work for her ;)
ReplyDeleteThe "X" block quilt is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYea, Spring is on the way!
Love the x block quilt. Congrats on your new baby (sewing machine). The bubbles make me think of Mod Squad and Twiggy. What was the name of the skinny girl on Mod Squad????
ReplyDeleteYour X blocks are wonderful! Love the color combination you picked. Baby quilt blocks are so cute! That is a gorgeous donation quilt. Your new Bernina is lovely too. How about the name "Bubbles"! or "Bernie Bubbles".
ReplyDeleteAngie beat me to it...Bubbles or Bernie Bubbles. Your new girl looks like she has bubbles.
ReplyDeleteSophia is the perfect reason for you to have gotten your new machine. Little kid clothes always look so cute with a bit of embroidery on them.
